Donna Bacu, Bursar

Donna has been involved in our neighborhood's Catholic community for over 40 years, including the last 10 keeping church finances in order. She currently prepares Blessed Trinity's monthly cash flow and other financial reports, and helps prepare the annual reports and budget. Donna has also been helpful in coordinating official records from our three contributing parishes, and archiving those records properly. At times, you'll see her managing the office when Linda is out.

Deacon Dick Beercheck

Deacon Beercheck has lived in our community since 1953 and was ordained a deacon in 1986. He's a technical writer by day and the Managing Editor for Lubes'n'Greases magazine, using the engineering degree (BSME) he earned from CWRU. Among his ministries, he most enjoys the men's ministry and Holy Name Society.

Katie Corbett, Youth and Family Minister

Katie and her husband Paul settled in West Park in 1978 to raise their three children. After earning her BS Ed degree, Katie taught grades 2 and 6 in Ascension School until she accepted a position as Youth & Family Minister at Ascension Parish. This is the position she now holds at Blessed Trinity Parish. Katie's work week is divided between time spent at both the parish and school sites. At the parish Katie coordinates youth programs for ages 3 through young adult.

Responsibilities: Adopt-A-Family Christmas Program, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Christmas Pageant, HeroesCamp VBS, Sacramental Preparation for ages 7-12, Youth & Young Adult Ministry

Sr. Mary Beth Gray, SND, Music Minister

Sister Mary Beth attended St. Joseph Elementary School in Amherst, Notre Dame Academy and, after entering the Sisters of Notre Dame - Notre Dame College. She became a teacher and taught many grades in several schools, and served as interim principal. She also organized the Liturgies and played guitar for the school Masses. In the summers, she directed the chapel music for the Sisters in Chardon. She helped re-start the social justice committee for the Sisters of Notre Dame, which led to the Sisters’ participation in the JustFaith program throughout the Cleveland area. They joined with their lay friends and spent 2 years studying and reading about social justice issues. She became a facilitator for Awakening the Dreamer, a workshop that emphasizes social justice and creation-centered spirituality. Now the Sisters of Notre Dame has a National Social Justice Ministry. She has expressed happiness in becoming the new Music Minister for Blessed Trinity, “The people of Blessed Trinity are warm, faith-filled, welcoming and generous. Thank you for taking me into your family with such kindness and grace. I’m so happy to be here. God bless each and every one of you!”

Fr. Doug Koesel, Pastor

Father Doug, Blessed Trinity's first and current pastor, was born in Cleveland. After a B.A. at Borromeo Seminary, he earned his Masters of Divinity at St. Mary Seminary in 1978, and was ordained a priest the same year. His calling has taken him not only to local parishes like St. Peter's in Lorain, St. Joseph's in Cuyahoga Falls, St. Clare's in Lyndhurst, St. Raphael's in Bay Village, St. Mark's on Cleveland's west side, and St. Peter's in North Ridgeville, but also to La Libertad in El Salvador; and to Puente Learning Center in East Los Angeles where he served immigrants and taught English as a second language (ESL). He helped bring the Retrouvaille marriage-counselling program to our diocese in 1985.

Deacon Bill Staab

Deacon Staab has lived in the neighborhood his whole life, attending St. Pat's grade school, and serving as deacon at St. Pat's and Blessed Trinity since his ordination in 1997. After his 20+ years of service in the Cleveland Fire Department, he's reached the rank of Lieutenant. He has developed his musical gift with a B.A. in Music Theory & Composition, and applied it occasionally at Blessed Trinity, or for the CFD. He started a spiritual reading book club here, the "B3-Bookies," that meets monthly.

Responsibilities: Ministry to Homebound, Ministry to Nursing Homes, Advent & Lent Family Nights, Animal Blessing, and Spiritual Reading Book Club

Linda Wilson, Office Manager

Linda came to Blessed Trinity from St. Mark's, where she served for 11 years. Here at Blessed Trinity, she's our dispatcher, bookkeeper, and office welcomer, both answering general questions, and routing more specific questions to others on the parish team.
